DR Mann Hanson (he/him) - Artist, Activist, and Entrepreneur, DR has a BA in Theatre from San Francisco State University and uses his 20-plus years as a theatre maker to create space for people, specifically his Queer people. When he opened Common Ground Games with his husband in 2013, he created a small business dedicated to providing jobs to LGBTQ individuals while also serving the greater gaming community by creating an inclusive gameplay space for gamers of all levels and identities. When he founded CinéWilde in 2014, Texas’ only monthly LGBTQ Film Series, he created an institution dedicated to Education, Entertainment, & Engagement using films created by Queer artists. When he leaves his house in a skirt and chunky necklace, he creates space for everyone around him to live their best authentic lives as extraordinarily as they desire. DR is honored to be on the Judging Panel for the OXTBX Film Festival and cannot wait to be inspired and touched by this films.
