Experts in independent film submissions to film festivals, Rebekah & Sam will cover everything from choosing the right festival to crafting the perfect submission to networking to maximize your chances of success.

SESSIOn 2: GETting INTO A COLLEGE FILM PROGRAM / Derek Kompare (SMU) & SAM HENDERSON (BAYLOR)

Get insider tips on applying to film schools from two film department professors. Together, they will guide you through creating a standout portfolio and preparing for interviews to increase your chances of acceptance.

Creators of the web series “Kings of Class” Jordan and Daniel will teach you how to create a compelling web series, from developing characters and storylines to shooting and editing for the digital audience.

Film maker and musician Josh Jordan will walk you through how experts budget a feature film, covering essential costs, efficient fund allocation, and insight on how you can stay within your financial limits while bringing your vision to life.

SESSIOn 5: CAREERS IN FILM / DOUG PODD

Doug Podd spent years working in film production for major brands. He will showcase film opportunities outside of Hollywood, highlighting non-traditional film careers and offering tips on how to succeed in the global film industry.
