The inaugural OK2BX Film Festival was held on April 24, 2022 at the historic Texas Theater in Dallas, Texas. The festival featured more than 20 short films created by talented high school students from across the nation! The festival is designed to honor diversity and inclusivity and films will be presented in the inclusivity, LGBTQIA+, Animation and Smartphone categories.

Congratulations to our category winners:
* Inclusivity – April Butler and Kaia Saiz
* LGBTQIA+ – Zoe Gameros
* Smartphone – Zariyah Perry
* Animation – Bowen Mosman
* Spirit of Eleanor – Ben Kompare

You can see all of the winners – plus all of the submissions on the OK2BX Film Festival YouTube Channel.

The film festival is dedicated in honor of Eleanor Bolding who died by suicide in 2021. For Eleanor, a great night was sitting with a bunch of friends watching films. Folks of all sorts would come together and share a common experience. The OK2BX Film Festival extends the core belief of the OK2BX Foundation that we can come together and find more in common, rather than issues that keep us apart.

Come join in the Inaugural OK2BX Film Festival. It’s a great way to start bringing everyone together.
